Ben Hornbrook

Senior Adviser

Ben specialises in communication strategy, stakeholder engagement and media relations. He enjoys working on complex issues and projects and has more than 10 years’ experience providing communication counsel to leaders in range of industries across the public, private and non-profit sectors.

Some of Ben’s recent projects include developing a stakeholder engagement strategy for the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW), providing strategic communication advice to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and developing national media relations campaigns for Insurance Australia Group (IAG) brands CGU and NRMA Insurance. He also worked closely with the National Mental Health Commission over a three-year period. This included working in-house as their acting Communication Manager and coordinating the launch of the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance.

Ben’s other clients include Bupa, Telstra, Football Federation Australia, the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, the Australian Government Department of Education, the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence (NCIE), Philips Electronics, Mortgage Choice and The Canadian-Australian Chamber of Commerce. He has a Bachelor of International Communication from Macquarie University and has visited 50 countries across all continents (except Antarctica).
