Ben Hornbrook specialises in communication strategy, media relations and social media engagement.
He is highly capable and highly regarded by clients, often working at a deeper level on their communication issues and strategies. For example, he has worked in-house with the National Mental Health Commission as their acting Communication Manager, and coordinated the launch of the Mentally Healthy Workplace Alliance, a cross-sector collaboration aimed at helping improve workplace mental health.
As a Senior Adviser at Boxing Clever, Ben has provided communication counsel and support to leaders and managers in range of industries, across both the public and private sectors. Some of his projects have included launching the National Sustainability Council’s inaugural report Sustainable Australia, working with Football Federation Australia to raise the profile of Women’s Football, and developing a re-launch strategy and thought leadership platform for one of Australia’s largest private education providers.
Ben’s is known for providing level-headed advice that is both strategic and highly practical. His other clients have included IAG, Bupa, the Department of the Environment, Mortgage Choice, The Canadian-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Philips Electronics. He has a Bachelor of International Communication from Macquarie University.
